Team 11318 will compete at FIRST Championship in Houston, TX (April 29–May 2, 2026) after earning District Championship Rookie All Star at the Chesapeake District Championship.

Chesapeake District Championship
At the FIRST Chesapeake District Championship in Petersburg, VA (April 9–12, 2026), we finished Rank 23 with a 7-5-0 qualification record and won District Championship Rookie All Star.
FCH District Severn MD Event
Week 4 in Severn, MD: Rank 12, record 10-7-0. Playoffs: 1st pick of Alliance 6; eliminated in the double elimination bracket (Round 5). This result helped us qualify for the district championship.
FCH District Bethesda MD Event
Week 3 in Bethesda, MD: Rank 14, record 7-7-0. Rookie All Star Award. Playoffs: 1st pick of Alliance 8; eliminated in the double elimination bracket (Round 2).
Virginia State Advocacy Seminar (VSAS)
Freedom High School students traveled to Richmond, VA for the Virginia State Advocacy Seminar with the Student Association for STEM Advocacy. They met with legislators to discuss updates to SB 105, the STEM + C grant.
NASA FIRST Robotics Competition Grant
Freedom Robotics was named the Rookie Team Grant winner for the entire Chesapeake District—spanning Virginia, Maryland, and Delaware. We’re honored to receive this recognition from NASA and FIRST.
